Breaking Through Walls

Hey there!

Hope this blog finds you doing well and living a life you are thrilled to be living. :)

If you have goals, if you have dreams, one of the inevitability's in life is that you will likely, at some point, run into a wall or obstacle on your way to achieving Your dreams.

The walls we run into, or more specifically, the walls we create, can be nothing less than dream destroyers if we allow them to be.

Personally, I have seen far to many amazing people sacrifice to many days, weeks, months, and years of their lives to these walls.

Life does not have to be that way, nor is life meant to be lived "stuck" on the side of the wall you do not want to be on.

To help you fix this, I recently hosted a "Facebook Live" event called Breaking Through Walls.

Several hundred people from all over the world attended the live event, and the feedback I have been getting from them has been fantastic.

I shared with them a simple five step system for breaking through the "Walls" of life, and I want to make sure you have access to this information too.

To watch, all you need to do is click the link below (You will have to be logged into facebook).

I hope you find value in this training.

Here's a quick overview of the five steps:

  1. Identify
  2. Find a Weakness
  3. Gather Your Resources for Before and After the Breakthrough
  4. Take Action
  5. Form your Team/Community

What Makes You Happy?

"I wish I was happier...," "If only I was happier, then____ (fill in the blank)"

Do either of the above sound familiar?  Have you ever heard friends, family, co-workers, or yourself say either of these phrases or something similar?

I know I sure have!

Happiness is something we all want yet it seems to be so elusive for so many.

The ironic part of happiness is that it is available anywhere, at anytime, and is unlimited in the amount of it you can have.

How is that so?

Well, put simply, happiness isn't a thing, it is a state of mind.  Things can stimulate our brain to produce "happy chemical's,"  things like images of puppies playing, little kids trying to walk, old people in love; are some universal images that conjure up the happy thoughts inside of us all.

We have the ability to be happy all the time.  We really do!  We just have to make it a point to train our mind to focus on and look for thoughts, things, ideas that make us feel happy vs. the opposite.

What makes you happy?

In the video below I discuss happiness and how to create it.

I hope it helps you bring more happiness into your life.

You Are Never to Young to Start Dreaming

You have heard all the phrases, "Dream Big," "If you can dream it you can achieve it," and so on.

Dream quotes, dream expressions, dream sayings... lets face it, they are everywhere.

As a kid one of the first dream statements I can remember is Martin Luther King Jr.'s " I have a Dream Speech."

Why is the "Dream" expression such a powerful one?  What is it about telling someone to go after their dreams that makes the statement so much more powerful vs saying go after your goals?

Would Dr. King's speech have had the same impact on us if he would have replaced the word "dream" with the word "goal?"  I don't think it would have.  I have a goal just does not have the same ring to it as does I have a dream.

You see dreams are something we can all relate to.  And they are something we all had well before we even had words.

Many of us get shy when it comes to setting goals, we believe we can't achieve certain ones and we are not deserving of others.  With dreams we do not limit ourselves.  We can dream the biggest dreams without fear, without judgement after all... it is just a dream right?

I believe that having dreams, big dreams, dreams for what you want in life, dreams for what you want to achieve are so so so important.

I also believe that You are never to young to start dreaming those dreams.

A couple years ago I recorded a video about the importance of dreaming and making those dreams come true.

As I re-watch the video today I am thankful that I started dreaming about being a speaker and coach long before I did it.

What is a dream of yours?

What action can you take, today, to move towards that dream?

Carpe Diem,

Jesse
