Passion...
A word that when you hear it you want what is the source of it.
We see people throughout life who have "it." The "it" they have is passion.
Whether it is in their relationship, their career, their family, or just how they interact with life; there is no mistaking a passionate person.
The big myth about passion is that it is reserved only for those who were born with it; meaning you either won the genetic lottery and have it, or you don't.
Nothing could be further from the truth for passion is not something you are born with, it is something you create. And who doesn't want to create more passion in their life?
As fate would have it, you are a born creator - born to create an emotional experience that brings you joy and fulfillment every day of your life.
Unfortunately most of us are not taught these tools in school - after all we have other, more important things to focus on like The symbolism of the green light at the end of the pier in "The Great Gatsby," (Why can't the light just be green?).
Recently I hosted a training where I shared three ways you can instantly become more passionate about life. You can watch that training below. These ways are simple strategies that anyone can do, but to do them will require you to step up to the plate of life and command more from yourself than you have before.
I hope the training was of value to you.
Let me know in the comments below.
As always if I can be of any help on your journey, you can let me know by contacting me here.

You Must Become Your Own Super Mario
There is one person and one person only that holds the power to take your life to the next level and that is you.
Life isn't like a Mario Brothers video game where you can just find a magic power up and level up in life.
To get to the next level requires 3 things from you:
1.) A decision - you must decide that it is no longer acceptable to continue on as you have. You must draw your line in the sand and decide that from this day forward you are going to live life at a new level.
2.) A commitment - you must commit to playing a bigger game. You must commitment to beginning a new journey and traveling a path few have ever traveled before. You must commit to remaining on the path and acquiring the tools/skills necessary to travel this path. This path will not be free from obstacles or challenges so you must commit to facing them as they arise.
3.) Implementation and Effort - no one said it would be easy, but the destination will be worth the effort it takes to get there. Learn, implement, learn, implement, learn, implement, adjust, refine, learn, and implement more.
If you stick with it your efforts will yield what you seek.
You hold the power.
Today can be the day you begin to take your life to the next level.

Here are Three Key Reasons Why Mindset Matters
Hello,
I believe that the biggest obstacles humans face to get from where they are to where they want to be is their mindset (thoughts, beliefs, focus, etc...) and their heart-set (emotions).
If we are able to master out mind and emotions in a way that propels us toward what we want, then success in whatever we want (relationship, business, health, etc...) is inevitable. If on the other hand we allow ourselves to be relegated to a life of a slave to our mind and our heart, then we will inevitably live a life of struggle, challenge, and un-fulfillment - always wondering what could have been.
I believe that you, and every other human being on this planet, is capable of living your definition of an extraordinary life. I believe what will allow you to live that life or keep you from it is what goes on in your mind and heart.
To help you with the mind portion of this, I recently hosted one of my "Weekly Wisdom" trainings on my Facebook page.
I have included it here for you to watch and I encourage you to invest the time to watch the training that over 3,000 other people already have.
It's a very powerful training - one filled with insights, aha's, tools, and strategies to help you become a mindset master.
Remember, Mindset Matters, and mastery of your mindset is key to get you from where you are to where you want to be.
Would love to hear your key takeaways from this training. Please leave them in the comments below.

Three Ways to Get Unstuck and Breakthrough to the Next Level
One of the biggest mistakes we can ever make in our lives is making the mistake of believing we are not in control of the thoughts we think and feelings we feel.
Anyone who has ever been mentally/emotionally stuck knows just how debilitating it can be.
Recently I hosted a free training where I shared Three Ways to Get Unstuck and Breakthrough to the Next Level in Life.
I am sharing it here, with you, in hopes that it can be of value to you and help you accelerate your journey of getting from where you are to where you want to be.
Be sure to watch/listen "actively," as I suggest in the video. I promise you that you will get more out of it. You can use the comments below to do so or comment within the Facebook thread.

Sometimes, in life, we may find ourselves in a place where we feel stuck, maybe even like we have lost control. It is in these "stuck states" where we can get lost on our path and lose focus on connection with purpose and passion.
Anyone who has ever been mentally/emotionally stuck knows just how debilitating it can be.

Yet they don't, why?
There are many reasons why someone doesn't change and in this video below I have included a few of the big ones.
Let me know what your key take aways are from it.

What would happen if you no longer feared rejection?
One of biggest fears shared by many of us is the fear of rejection.
Dreams will be dismissed before they even begin when faced with the prospect of rejection.
One "no," can lead to a lifetime of what could have been's.
Great love story's, amazing inventions, and much more remains unrealized because the prospect of potential rejection becomes to much to face.
Every day I am blessed to be able to speak with people from all over the world. So many of these amazing people are living a life that is less than what they desire because they fear the potential of rejection.
Recently I came across a TED talk where the speaker made it his mission to tackle rejection head on. Having lived much of his early life "safely," to avoid being rejected, he decided to make a challenge ( it reminded me very much of my own 1 Year 1000 Challenge) to basically seek out rejection for 100 days straight.
The video is about 16 minutes long, it is funny, it is insightful, it is inspiring, and it is well worth the investment of time to watch it.
As a side note - the story about the doughnut shop he mentions in here, I remember hearing that story when it first happened. Perhaps you did too?
What did you think his talk? Are you willing to risk the potential of a "no," so that you can get a yes to living the life you want?

Poker Is a Metaphor for Life
Hi Everyone!
Quick update before we dive into this weeks blog...
Next week is the final week for the Early Bird ticket sale for Unlock Your Greatness, which is being held this October in Santa Barbara, California. If you have been thinking about coming, or you want to come, grab your tickets now by clicking here.
Blog:
In poker, specifically Texas Hold Em, the best starting hand you
can be dealt is Two Aces aka "Pocket Aces." Conversely, the worst
starting hand you can be dealt is a "two" and a "seven" of different
suits aka "2/7 off suit."
The great thing about poker is even though we may be dealt the
worst starting hand, we can choose to play it like the best hand. The
players will not know any different.
In life, we may not always be dealt the best starting hand, but WE ALL have the choice to choose to play the hand we are dealt like Aces. We can choose to play our starting hand like the best hand possible and the world will not know any different.
In life, we may not always be dealt the best starting hand, but WE ALL have the choice to choose to play the hand we are dealt like Aces. We can choose to play our starting hand like the best hand possible and the world will not know any different.
The point is this: we have a tremendous
amount of power available to us. We can choose to look at a situation
as "2/7 off suit" or we can choose to look at a situation as "aces," or
we can choose to look at it as anything in between.
Learning how to see the "aces" in life is one of the most powerful skills you will ever learn.
Watch this short video I recorded below to learn more about how Poker is a metaphor for life.
